A New Logo

We’ve been working on a new logo, and we’d love to hear what you think.

Our new logo.

We're excited to introduce our new logo, a snowy egret striding out of a brushed circle in burnt orange. Like the gallery, the logo brings two crafts together in one image: the eye of the camera and the hand of the potter. We wanted something that felt unmistakably Key West, and nothing says home quite like an egret walking the waterline.

The egret comes straight from one of our best-loved photographs, Happy Bird. It's a moment caught in the wild: a bird mid-stride, confident and a little bit joyful. That's what photography means to us: patience, good light, and the luck of being there when nature does something wonderful.

Our logo.

The brushed circle is an ensō, a Zen symbol for wholeness and the beauty of imperfection. Its uneven edge echoes the hand-thrown curve of a pot on the wheel. The egret stands on a waterline shaped like a plate, and its burnt-clay color recalls fired earth and Key West sunsets. Together they show how our gallery works: Mark's ceramics are the ground we stand on, and the camera captures what passes through.
