What I love about portrait photography
I was reviewing my photos over the past year when I realized that most of them were portrait photos. Although there were still plenty of birds and seascapes, at some point my primary focus had shifted from nature to people.

Whether it’s candid or posed, a portrait photo tells a personal story. It’s a record of a moment in time. In candid photos, there’s always a story behind the moment. In posed photos, the face tells a long-term story in smiles and frown lines.
